I’d like to take a moment to honor Ken Giddens, a fellow marketer who has just passed away.
I met Ken when I spoke at Carl Galletti’s sixth superconference. When I walked off stage Ken made a point to come up and say ‘nice job’. He didn’t even know me at that time and his kindness and sincerity immediately impressed me. I’ll never forget that.
I spoke with him a few times since and in that brief time I learned a lot from him. He was so generous with his knowledge and helpful every time. It speaks volumes about him to have left such a fond memory for me in such a brief time knowing him. Positively one of the good guys.
John Reese’s newsletter the other day made me think about what I would do if I had just 12 months to live. With Ken’s passing, I think his question is all the more important to ask ourselves.
Ken was loved by many and did great things and will be mourned and remembered. I’d like to think he did what he would have wished for his last 12 months.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ken’s family and friends.

Hi Craig,
When I received the first email about Ken’s recent passing I initially thought “This can’t be right…”(as in it’s not true). But then a few more notices came in.
It’s great how people remember Ken as not only a SEO expert, but a truly wonderful guy to know.
My younger sister has a congenital heart defect so it feels like I’m kind’a closer to him since he had a similar condition too.
It’s also great that many fellow Internet marketing experts are putting together their teleseminars and interviews they had with Ken and are freely sharing them with all of us…
Ken has left us with a great legacy.
God Bless You(& all you who are reading),
Yoon
P.S. It would be great to read what people would do in 12 months if they knew that’s the time they had left…
