I get a lot of questions about how to create an effective landing page.
What IS a landing page, you ask?
Well, when you send visitors to a website and you want them to opt in to your list, you want a single purpose web page called a landing page.
It can be simple or elaborate, and I’ve done a quick 8 minute video here of one of the best I’ve seen. It incorporates all the latest in what is working for opt in pages.

Hi Craig,
Will this be effective for beginners (newbies) or does this only work for marketers who already have the Rfactor?
Scott,
The elements… logo, proof, offer in headline, call to action is the essense of a landing page. I simply used Armand’s proof to illustrate how he used the formula.
Of course, if you don’t have a huge track record or name in your industry, you’ll want to substitute proof in another way. Partner with someone who does have a name (you can meet them usually at live events) or show irrefutable proof that your offer has value.
For this you could use testimonials and perhaps a picture of your product or you providing your service.
What’s important is to prove to your visitor that you (or the product you are promoting) are trustworthy and offer something they want.
Done with the elements on Armand’s page, you’ll be in good shape.
Thanks for the great question!
