I just got back from Big Seminar… I’ve got stories, pics, and lessons (tomorrow).
But first I want to let you in on a ‘rumor’ that’s going around.
There was a lot of talk in Atlanta that Armand Morin IS also the up and coming country western star, Michael Lee Austin.
Well, I happen to be privy to an online video that should clear this all up for you… and YOU’LL get a chance to be part of something pretty cool.
No one has ever done this before… and it’s shakin up the music industry big time.
All I can say is, there’s more to this Armand/Michael Lee thing than meets the eye.
You be the judge…

BTW… even if you don’t give a hoot about music or rumors or controversy over Michael Lee Austin and Armand… you simply must see this video because the potential to use that in your business and get more attention from your visitors is definitely a Maverick strategy.

What a terrific idea. I don’t know/care if it’s true or a hoax, but what a nifty trick to create a rumor about yourself to generate buzz. That’s hysterical. It’s like the guy wanting to sell his ex-wife’s wedding gown on eBay, and so he took pictures of himself wearing it. Everyone forwarded the link to their friends because no one could believe that it was true.
People will be forwarding this link on just so their friends can see if it’s true or a hoax. And regardless, they’ll sell CD’s and collect email addresses.
I LOVE IT! I’ll give one of the CD’s to my Mom for Mothers day! I guess a gift for her and one for me, along with some extra Marketing information is deal I can’t pass up!
Thanks

What an effective idea for creating curiousity! I certainly want to know if this is a hoax, you must say they do look alike! It’s has been a long time since I listened to country music, having lived in Texas 30 years ago, but I do like it and this album. Best wishes to Armichael, or whoever!

They kinda do look a like
What a great way to jump-start any business:
Piggy back from someone else’s business and
create an awesome viral strategy! A job well done.
Well Craig…..LOL I still can’t tell if that’s him or not! I’ll have to go to the next Big Seminar and make Armand sing!
Anyway, it’s a great marketing stradegy..I love it.

Pretty slick. Did anyone notice tha they were not even in the same place when they shot it? They did a good job of faking it too. In case anyone wants to know they did it with green screen. The background was fake too. Wonderful stuff.
That really is cute. I got the link from several people and I have to agree that it’s a very clever strategy with lots of levels of creativity and ingenuity put to good use.

For years I lived with a filmmaker and I have to admit Armand did a pretty good job of the splitscreen technique and timing. Sure there are a couple glitches right at the beginning where the interaction of the images overlap a few times but he did a fine job of maintaining the image quality overall. You can bearly see the slight lighter image quality on the Michael Image.
The songs are pretty good too for country. some of the underlying themes of internet marketing entrepreneurship also seem to show up in the music. Example: ‘I’ll see you in Tijuana’ speaks of getting away from the 10 hour days and the commuting and the (life) the singer is getting away from. and ‘Labor Pains’ speaks of the boss not wanting to hear excuses but wanting to see the finished product which seemed like an allegory to motivating a marketer to getting the product out there. Maybe I am just trying to see more there than a country song.

The CD / country western promotion is pretty nifty stuff.
But I’m in it for the tele-seminar. I only wish it weren’t
weeks and weeks in the future.
