I never used to go to live events, like seminars or workshops, as I’ve said before on this blog.
As recently as a few years ago, I never met any of the marketers I studied in person… they were bigger than life, far away, only on audio tapes and in books as far as I was concerned.
Now I not only go to events… I speak at a few seminars and workshops each year… recently at Big Seminar 7 in Atlanta.

Live events, big or small, are a world apart from our home offices and kitchen tables… and I’ve met virtually all of the guy and gal gurus and made friends with many of them.
And now… I’m ready to take my business to the next level… I’m finally going to put on a Maverick Marketer workshop of my own later this year due to the number of requests I’ve gotten for one.
Obviously, I had never considered doing such a thing until recently when I got to know folks like Armand Morin and other friends of mine who have done very nicely putting on events.

I’ve spoken at two workshops now that cost $5,000 to attend… and it’s $1,995 for a ticket to Big Seminar.
Turns out putting on workshops and seminars can be a business all in itself… and you don’t have to be in ‘marketing’ to do it.
Heck, in the real estate market folks pay $10,000 and up to attend weekend seminars. Then again, I’ve known friends who made a bundle charging just $97 for admission… so there is more than one way to profit.
But there is only ONE place I know of where you can learn from folks who have put together some of the most successful events exactly HOW to do it.
That’s the Next Level Promoters II event in Atlanta where I’m speaking May 5th, 6th and 7th.
(By the way, there is a special deal on the hotel rooms that ends tonight… so if you are considering this event, act now!)
Of course, I’m looking forward to speaking about list building while I’m there… but I’m also going to be in the audience taking notes, too, so I’m ready when it’s time to do my workshop.
Like anything else, it’s pretty easy once you know how… the trick is knowing how to…
* pick the right speakers for your event
* fill up the seats with attendees
* get great deals from hotels (while everyone else gets tangled up in expenses and crazy contracts)
If you’re considering putting on an event, these guys only put on one of these events a year… and you’ll have a chance to learn from Armand Morin of Big Seminar and Michael Lee Austin fame, among others, who can show you exactly how to do it step by step.
To give you an idea of how important this event is, when the date moved from late April to the May 5th, 6th and 7th, I almost had to cancel because of a prior commitment in Austin at my friend Pat OBryan’s workshop.
But… instead I decided to do something I’ve never done before… speak at two seminars in the same weekend.
That’s right… when all my speaking and break out session is done on Saturday in Austin, I’m catching a plane to Atlanta and speak Sunday at Next Level.
Crazy? Not at all. Go to http://www.maverickmarketer.com/next
and you’ll see the faculty and you’ll understand.
You probably have never put on an event in your life… I haven’t… but then again, if you asked me 5 years ago if I’d be speaking to a room of almost 500 marketers I’d have laughed right back at you.
And yet that’s just what I did at Big Seminar a couple weeks ago.
Getting to the next level in your business often requires a little stretching of your comfort zones… doing things that you’ve never done before.
If you’re considering putting on a small workshop or even a seminar of any kind… this would be THE opportunity to take a look at right away.
If your serious… jump on the special hotel offer today if you can… and I’ll see you in Atlanta.
Craig Perrine
P.S. I would have invited you to come to Pat O’Bryan’s workshop… (it’s his first) but it sold out within 6 hours of him announcing it to his list… so I can’t. I’m speaking a couple other times in May… and I’ll tell you about those soon. (THEN I’m going on my road trip… and won’t speak again until September!)

Craig Perrine did a great speech where he gave LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of content
at the Atlanta Big Seminar. Guys who were at this will understand just how much he gave.
I picked up quite a few tidbits from his speech and can easily recommend Craig to others.
Thanks Craig
