When I wrote yesterday ‘Ahoy, Money!’ by Paul Lemon was rising rapidly on the Amazon sales rankings.
It jumped from 468,000 to 30,000 by 8am… and then to 212. Then to 130. Then to 63 by midnight on Amazon’s Top 100 Best Seller list.
What’s perhaps even more impressive is that this morning when I checked it was still 68, and just around lunch time slipped to 97.
I’ll tell ya, not many books that launch stay in the top 100 beyond the first day.
What I’m most proud of is that we hit #1 in the Personal Finance Category against Rich Dad’s Robert Kiyosaki and Suze Orman, and we were in the top 11 in Business and Investing.
Not bad for an author none of ya’ll had heard of before yesterday.
And… that was with Amazon incorrectly reporting that the book wouldn’t be released until October most of the day on the website (it’s available now and in stock!).

It was a great day… a great man with a great book got a whole lot of great exposure and sold more books than some pretty darn great competitors.
